Jolan has over twenty years of legal experience, initially working within a large international law firm (Macleod Dixon LLP, now Norton Rose Fulbright), where she was a partner and worked in the law firm's administration as Strategic Marketing Partner.

She then became the first ever General Counsel for the Canadian Olympic Committee during years of rapid growth, historic revenue development, significant event hosting,

brand management and brand campaigns, board and bylaw revamping

and some internal leadership turmoil that was quite public.

She is now a consultant with expertise in sport sponsorship, sponsorship sales and licensing, esport, sport hosting, live and virtual events, revenue strategies, sports marketing agreements, athlete endorsements, title sponsorship, licensing arrangements, marketing and advertising law, technology licensing agreements, trade-marks, branding and brand management, e-learning and intellectual property.
